To The Stars

As I mentioned in class, space has always fascinated me. I am not alone in my fascination; many people around the world are just as if not more interested in the universe than I am. Space holds a sort of inherent wonder - when someone looks up at the night sky, they are not only looking up at a vast universe full of bright, burning stars and mysterious galaxies. They are looking up at the unknown, at the potential future frontier for mankind, almost at hope itself. This is far from a sole fascination; this is something that nearly all humans at some point contemplate or admire. These pictures I took in New Zealand visualize two things - the vastness of space, and the natural human fascination with the world outside ours.
