The Mission Viejo Activities Committee (MVAC) is proud to announce the return of a unique festival for Mission Viejo and surrounding communities. Up in the Air Festival – Mission Viejo Takes Flight will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 11 AM to 4 PM on the Green next to the Norman P. Murray Community Center. This exciting festival will showcase everything that goes Up in the Air or uses air to operate. Examples include planes, kites, bubbles, balloons, pinwheels, and more.
This fun festival will include professional kite flyers, disc dog shows, various flying contests, nonprofit food booths, children’s crafts, exhibitors and entertainment. Over the years, the MVAC has implemented many events that are exciting, well-attended, and most successful. The Up in the Air Festival will build on these successes and begin new traditions for Mission Viejo and the community. This event will also share its success with local nonprofits, furthering their success and purpose within the community.
We are currently seeking volunteers, commercial vendors and event sponsors to help enhance this festival. The MVAC is a 501c3 non profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible. If you would like more information please call 949-830-7066.
